Comparison of Workers Compensation Rates
Six Selected Northeastern States

The DCRB has performed an analysis of prevailing workers compensation rating values in Delaware and five neighboring states. The most recent study, completed in January, 2008 presents comparative ranges of approved rating values in some 30 classifications, representing the 10 largest classifications from each of three Industry Groups: manufacturing, contracting and all other industries. The study accounts for the effects of such pricing variables as loss costs and/or manual rates, classification plan differences, and some (but not all) competitive pricing tools. The complete study is presented below.
